ISO 14001 Internal Auditor Outcomes

This course will help you:

• Recognise areas your Certification Body (CB) will be generally looking for to comply with generic internal auditing requirements in management system standards. This will include the meanings and intention of certification criteria and associated theories, methodologies, techniques or tools.
• Prepare, conduct and follow-up on ISO 14001:2015 audit activities.
• Identify and apply the benefits and requirements of an ISO 14001:2015 audit.
• Gain the skills to assess an organisation’s capability to manage its EMS.

You will gain 16 CPD points on completing the course and receive a certificate of attendance.

This five day course covers the key principles and practices of effective EMS audits in accordance with ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 19011 "Guidelines for auditing management systems". Using a step-by-step approach, you'll be guided through the entire audit process from initiation to follow-up gaining the knowledge and skills required to undertake and lead a successful environmental management systems audit. This course is ideal for anyone with the need to audit an organisation's ISO 14001:2015 EMS.

Pre-requisite: You should have a good knowledge of ISO 14001 and the key principles of an EMS such as gained in the ISO 14001:2015 Requirements course. It will also help if you have attended an internal or lead auditor course or have experience with conducting internal or supplier audits.

Assessment

The course is assessed by a 2 hour exam which tests your knowledge and understanding. You will also reveice 40 CPD points.
