Can the IOSH Leading Safely course be studied Online?
No, IOSH Leading Safety is not available for Online-only study. It is available as a Live Online or Classroom course, or for In-Company delivery.
How does the diagnostic tool work?
The diagnostic tool is a mobile app which enables you to analyse your current health & safety leadership performance before attending the workshop. This will then enable you to devise your action plans to improve.
Do I need to attend the IOSH Safety for Directors and Executives course as well?
It is not essential that you attend the IOSH Safety for Directors and Executives when studying this course, however it is recommended. The IOSH Safety for Directors and Executives course focuses on ensuring that Senior Management are fully aware of their joint and individual health and safety responsibilities in the day-to-day running of their organisation.
How is the course assessed?
There is no exam for the course. The assessment is based on the quality of your personal action plan.
What is the difference between online, elearning and distance learning?
Online & elearning are just different words for the same thing. Distance Learning, means learning at a distance but is commonly used to describe the more traditional paper based study, RRC do provide the complete study text which you can download and study off line thus giving you the option of how you study the course
